On 20 March, 2024, Dr. Nian Peng, Director of RCAS, accepted an interview from Hong Kong China News Agency (HKCNA) on US's New Actions in the SCS. He analyzed the impacts of the U.S. Secretary of State Blinken's Manila tour and the first US-Japan-Philippines summit in April on the SCS situations and the Philippine-China relations.
