Dr. Xayphone Kongmanila is Non-resident Senior Fellow at Research Centre for Asian Studies(RCAS), China, and Assistant Professor of Business Management at the National University of Laos, Laos. He obtained his Doctoral Degree in Business Management from Hiroshima University, Japan in 2009. During his study, he used to be the research follow of the Fuji-Xerox Company. Dr. Kongmanila has published a lot of business management research articles in International Journals such as Malaysian Management Review, The Journal of International Development and Cooperation, Globsyn Management Journal, International Journal of Business and Management, China-USA Business Review, Contemporary Management Research, International Journal of Economics and Management and Asia Pacific Management Review. In 2018, he got the Best Researcher Award from National University of Laos. In 2019, he was invited to be a Visiting Professor at Senshu University, Japan. Currently, Dr. Kongmanila is the Director of Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business Management, National University of Laos. During 2011-2017, Dr. Kongmanila was appointed by Minister of Ministry of Finance to be an Auditor of BANQUE POUR LE COMMERCE EXTERIEUR LAO PUBLIC (BCEL)’s Board of Director. He was also appointed to be Board of Director of Lao Telecommunication Public Company since 2018 and Souvany Home Center Public Company since 2020. Currently, he was appointed to be Board of Director of Agriculture Promotion Bank.
