Dr. Amjad Abbas Khan Magsi is  Non-resident Senior Fellow of Research Centre for Asian Studies(RCAS), China, as well as a faculty member at Pakistan Study Center, University of the Punjab, Lahore. He has also served as Acting Director of Pakistan Study Centre. The centre also hosts the The Belt and the Road institute of Sichuan University and Jiangsu Normal University established at the Punjab University in 2019 and 2017. He has been visiting faculty member of Chinese Universities. Dr. Magsi earned his Ph.D. in Pakistan Studies from University of the Punjab in the subject of Pakistan Studies. He did his Masters from Quaid.i.Azam University Islamabad in History and graduated from Government College University Lahore in Economics and  European History. He has been teaching Government and Politics, Constitutional Development of Pakistan to the Doctoral, Post graduate and the Undergraduate levels at University of the Punjab. He has numerous publications in recognized Journals to his credit. Dr. Magsi has been supervising and conducting post graduate research on various aspects of Pakistan. He has been instrumental in organizing conferences  and seminars at his University. He has participated and presented papers in a number of national and international seminars and conferences. He has been regularly invited to National Electronic and Print media forums of Pakistan as an analyst on various aspects of Pakistan.
