Dr. Rana Danish Nisar is an nonresident fellow of the Hong Kong Research Center for Asian Studies (RCAS), Hong Kong. He has completed a degree Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Relations along with “Best International Student” Award” & “Best Academic Diligence” awards twice. Before it, he holds Masters of Arts (MA) degree in Pakistan Studies, Masters of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in International Relations, Masters of Arts (MA) degree in International Relations and Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in History respectively with high academic scores. Apart from the previous academic loci’s, currently, he is an Assistant Professor at university of management and technology (Qs university ranking 78th in Asia). He has won multiple various academic distinctions, scholarships and awards in his academic journey. He is a former fellow at The Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR).  He is widely published in international and national journals and occasionally writes commentaries, op-ed, and essays on global power politics, International relations and changing dynamics of global security in the AI era. His recent research focuses on Artificial Intelligence and its impacts on traditional and nontraditional security.
